Day 3 - Langjokull

Start the day with this classic drive to Thingvellir, a National Park and site of the World’s oldest parliament. Thingvellir National park is on the UNESCO World Heritage List since 2004. Onwards to serene Lake Laugarvatn and thundering rainbow-ringed Gullfoss, the golden waterfall. From Gullfoss we drive into the thermal landscape around iconic Geysir with the erupting hot springs. You will catch glimpses of the mighty Langjokull glacier and also have the option of a snowmobiling, river-rafting or quad-biking (not included in the tour price).  Finally on to the stunning blue-green lake in the volcanic basalt crater of Kerid. Lodging: TBA
