Half Day MalagaMalaga is one of Europe’s oldest and southernmost cities, making it unsurprising that history and sun-drenched tropical life feature prominently on this 4 hour tour. The first sight to see is the Malaga Cathedral, a primarily Renaissance building, but with gothic and Baroque influences. In the center of town is the harbor area, where palm-lined parkways and sandy beaches brush up against the sparkling Mediterranean. In between the beach and the harbor you will find La Malagueta, one of Spain’s most famous and prestigious bull fighting arenas. Trekking up the hill of Gibralfaro, you will be treated to a panoramic view of the city and the sea beyond. 4 hrs |

Full Day RondaOne of the most picturesque towns in all of Spain, Ronda’s almost endless supply of breathtaking views are the focus of this 8 hour tour. The city spans the crest of an isolated ridge, as well as the plunging El Tajo gorge that cuts through the middle of it. Roads and paths circle the town offering panoramic views, as well as a collection of opulent Renaissance-style villas. The El Tajo divide measures over 100 yards down to the riverbed below at its deepest point, where it is crossed by the 18th century Puente Nuevo. This bridge is the town’s signature landmark, and offers views of the surrounding valley, as well as the whitewashed houses perched precariously on the cliff sides. Ronda’s cultural heritage includes winding Moorish streets and Spain’s oldest bullring, and has inspired many artistic and literary figures, especially Ernest Hemingway. 8 hrs |

Full Day GranadaDrive the spectacular Sierra Nevada mountain road to Granada on this 10 hour day trip. Crowning a hilltop above the city, the Alhambra complex forms the focal point of the city, and is a cultural landmark. Ruled by monarchs on both sides during the conclusion of the Reconquista, it offers a window into the courts of both Christian and Muslim tradition. Entering through the Justice Gate, The Palace of Charles V dominates the central area. An immense rectangular facade in Renaissance style adorns the outside, while a majestic portico encircles the inner courtyard. Adjacent to the Renaissance structure is the sprawling Moorish Nasrid Palace. Its halls, gardens, and courtyards are decorated with a hypnotic array of geometric and floral designs, taken from 5 centuries of Spanish Muslim tradition. Opposite the Alhambra on a facing hillside is the Generalife, a palace dedicated to gardens, fountains, and panoramic vistas. 8 hrs |
